How to Obtain Your Permit for Buying Food Grade Ethanol in Pennsylvania

Where to find your Pennsylvania Ethanol Permit

In order to purchase food grade ethanol as a resident in Pennsylvania, you must have a permit.  Determine which permit you need (i.e. "AN" or AE"), then you can apply for it with Pennsylvania's licensing system online at https://plcbplus.pa.gov/pub/Login.aspx.

Once you are registered with the PLCB system, you can then apply for the permit you need through Pennsylvania's Licensee Online Order Portal (LOOP) here: https://www.pa.gov/services/lcb/order-wine-and-spirits-online-loop-portal
