We completely understand your frustration. Shipping a 4 oz glass bottle of perfumer’s alcohol to California costs $19. Why so much? Let me break it down:

First, the package weighs 2 lbs—glass is heavy, and we pack it securely to ensure it arrives safely. On top of that, the package is marked "Limited Quantity", which restricts delivery options. For example, we can't have deliveries held at FedEx locations like Walgreens or Rite Aid for pickup.

If your zip code isn't in a bustling urban center, FedEx adds extra charges for residential or rural addresses. And since we ship from our distillery in Northern Maine, the further away you are, the higher the shipping costs. Let's not forget about fuel surcharges—those are always in play.

We know Amazon Prime has set high expectations for free and fast shipping. Unfortunately, the reality is, it's just not possible to ship certain items cheaply.
