Beat COVID-19, make your own organic hand sanitizer [Recipe].

What is the difference between denatured and non-denatured ethanol?

Denatured ethanol is ethanol made unfit for human consumption by adding one or more chemicals (denaturants) to it.

Non-denatured ethanol is ethanol without anything added to it, making it safe for human consumption.  Culinary Solvent is non-denatured.

  • Hi, I just used your recipe for making hand sanitizer and it works great. Thank you! Now I’m wondering if I can put the ethanol in a spray bottle undiluted to use as a disinfectant for counters, doorknobs, light switches, etc. Do I need to dilute it? And if so what ration? Thanks for your great product and service.
